About 425 Direct
The history of 425 Direct

Established in 2001 and originally owned by Chase de Vere Investments Ltd, we were renamed Chase de Vere Financial Services when we became part of the Bank of Ireland Group in 2005 and were merged with the founding firm behind the award winning Moneyextra website (now owned by The Help Group). Our involvement with the pioneering website has given us a unique insight into the intricacies of the financial market place and has enabled us to build enduring relationships with key product providers.

In 2005 Chase de Vere was acquired by AWD Group plc, owned by one of the largest advisory groups in Europe, and we were rebranded AWD Chase de Vere.

Since September 2009 we are now 425 Direct, a wholly owned subsidiary of National Friendly, a specialist healthcare insurer that formed in 1868 and was integral in the formation of the National Health Service.

Our company vision is to provide a telephony and online operation delivering across a broad spectrum and catering for a diverse array of customers’ financial requirements.

At 425 Direct, we understand the process and importance of delivering efficient and technology supported advice whilst maintaining a personal and customer-focused approach.

425 Direct is a firm of independent financial advisers, authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
